WH Golf Wins Again

Whitman-Hanson had one of their best outings today at home against Pembroke High School, defeating them 228-267.The win was a complete team effort as there were five players who shot 5 over par or better.  Today's medalist was senior co-captain Shane Devlin who shot a 2 over par 36, while fellow senior co-captain Cory Cocchi turned in a 3 over par 37. The Manning brothers (Cam, junior and Cole, sophomore) both shot 4 over par, and sophomore Patrick Tyler, in his first Varsity match earned a 5 over par 39.It wasn't all bad for he visitors, though as Sean L'Italien shot a 5 over par as the lone bright spot.The win improves the Panthers record to 2-1 overall, and 2-0 in the league. They play host again tomorrow to the Scituate Sailors, where they hope to keep their winning ways alive.
