Golf comes up short against Duxbury

Fall to the Dragons

The WH golf team faced the heavily favored Duxbury Dragons today at Ridder Farm Golf Club, but fell short of the upset by 18 strokes, losing 221-239.

Senior Sam Perkins has been playing really well lately and continued to do so today as the team medalist, turning in a 4-over 38. Senior captain Josh Kelleher and Senior Alex Burbank also played well each shooting a 5-over par, but the Dragons were just too strong from top to bottom in their lineup.

The Panthers have a day off tomorrow from match play, but get right back into the swing of things on Thursday as they host the Pembroke Titans.
