Cross country sweeps

WHITMAN HANSON BOYS AND GIRLS TEAMS SWEEP SILVER LAKE

On Tuesday afternoon, the host Whitman Hanson Boys Cross Country team (4-2) took the top five spots in its meet with Silver Lake.  Senior Patrick Brett led the Panthers over the 5K course in 17:55.  Following right behind were Sophomore Lukas Moscoso (18:00) and Junior Sam Evans (18:12.)  Freshman Jack Ryan (18:13) and Junior Jayson Keenan (18:17) rounded out the scoring.  

For the Girls it was Samantha Coletti taking first place again in a personal best on her home course of 18:48.  Senior Captains Kelsey Tierney and Caroline Mulrey finished together with a time of 20:22 to take 2nd and 3rd place.  Junior Abbie Newman (22:59) and Senior Captain Megan Concannon (22:09) finished the sweep for the Panthers who now stand at 6-0 on the season.
