The next few days will be very busy in WH Athletics and this
is the time for Panther pride to shine…..here is the lineup:
Friday the football team travels to Sandwich for their final
regular season game before Thanksgiving.
The team is currently 3 and 6 but despite that record have displayed an
explosive offense at times this year.
The game at Sandwich tomorrow kicks off at 4pm.
From there we move to championship weekend….the girls cross
country team is poised to make some noise in the state championship at 12;20pm
at Franklin Park. The girls have had a
remarkable season which has already included a league championship and a second
place finish at Eastern mass.
The timing is perfect for fans to support the cross country
team and the girls soccer team. The WH panthers
will be travelling to Braintree at 2pm on Saturday to take on the panthers of Franklin High
School in the division one south sectional championship. Yes, its going to be cold, but dress in
layers, bring some hot chocolate and watch the girls go for the title.
Championship weekend concludes on Sunday with our
cheerleaders competing in the South Regionals which just so happen to be at
Whitman-Hanson this year. Our girls are
scheduled to compete at 12:10pm
