Girls Lacrosse team beat Abington today in a non-league matchup at home19-9. Both teams were swapping goal for goal in first few minutes. Despite being cold and rainy out, it didn't the Panthers long before their balanced offense began to heat up. Rylee Holmes, Rachel Kelly and Gabby Majenski each had 4 goals for the Panthers. Kaity Carpenter (3), Liz Hyslip (2) and Arica McCarthy (2) also added to the goal total. Whitman-Hanson did a great job of sharing ball and the offensive load. The balanced offense lead to assists by Kelly (3), Holmes (2), Majenski (2), McCarthy (2), Hyslip (1), and Captain Rachel Spillane (2). After making her debut in goal on Tuesday, Alyssa Nicholson turned in another great performance with 11 saves. The Panthers are now 2-0 to start the season (1-0 league).
