WH Girls Lacrosse

> The Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse team played Scituate at home in a league matchup. Despite being down at the half and missing 7 players, the Panthers scratched and clawed their way back for the next 25 minutes. Rylee Holmes had the last of her 4 goals (2 assists) with 4 seconds left in the game to tie it up 13-13. Lauren Bonavita had a chance to score in overtime to add to her 2 goal total for the game, but Scituate goalie Courtney Loring made a great save. Scituate came back and scored the sudden death goal to end the game 14-13. Ali Joanis had a big game for the Panthers with 4 goals (1 assist). Also scoring for WH was Taylor McVeigh (2 goals, 2 assists) and Gabby Majenski (1 goal, 1 assist). The loss puts the Panthers at 3-2 on the season ( 2-1 league).
