> The Whitman-Hanson Girls Varsity Lacrosse team played a non-league game at Silver Lake today. Whitman-Hanson came out firing and had 3 goals in the first 5 minutes. The Lakers slowed down the Panthers offense, but SL was still down 6-4 at the half. After a long stretch of back and forth from both teams, WH came alive. The Panther scored 3 goals in the final 5 minutes to win 11-7. Rachel Kelly and Gabby Majenski both had hat tricks in the win. Also scoring for the Panthers was Lauren Bonavita ( 2 goals), Mik White ( 2 goals), Ali Joanis ( goal, assist), and Emily Burnett ( assist ).
