Whitman Hanson Girls soccer




 

Whitman Hanson girls' soccer(9-0-1) qualifies for the state tournament with a 5-3 victory over Marshfield. The Panthers jumped out to a 3-0 first half lead on goals by Taylor Kofton (2 assists) and 2 by Lauren Bonavita. Marshfield got one back in the second half on a penalty kick and Bonavita answered back with 2 more to make it 5-1. Marshfield scored on another penalty shot and a free kick to make it 5-3. Bonavita 4 goals(1 assists) provided the offensive firepower while Sammi Smith, Elana Wood, Carly Alexopolous, and Betty Blake played strong defensive games in front of keeper Skylar Kuzmich.
