Whitman-Hanson Recap Reporting




The Whitman-Hanson Field Hockey Panthers played against the Duxbury Dragons in Whitman, MA today.  The Dragons won by a score of 6-0.  The Panthers were dressed in pink for the game to show support for the fight against breast cancer.  The Dragons scored 2 goals within the first 10 minutes of the game and added a third by the close of the half.  The Panthers forced the ball into the Dragons end, but were unable to capitalize.  The Dragons scored two more times at the start of the second half and one later in the half.  Making the final score 6-0 Dragons over the Panthers.  As a program, the Panthers rallied around junior forward, Riley MacDonald, in supporting her for a 3 day 60 mile walk to fight breast cancer this November in San Diego, CA.
