Whitman Hanson Girls soccer




 

The Whitman Hanson girls soccer team improved to 13-1-1 with a 2-0 win over Patriot League opponent Silver Lake. The Panthers pressured Silver Lake early in the first half and after a few close attempts the Panthers finally got on the board when Taylor Kofton fired a 25yd blast in to the top of the net. The rest of the half saw bot hteam with chances only to be denied. WH came out strong in the second half and took a 2-0 lead when Lauren Bonavita took a Taylor Robertson cross and redirected it into the net. From there the defense of Elana Wood, Katie Korzec, Olivia Reed and Carly Alexopolous took over. Skylar Kuzmich made 8 saves for the shutout.
