Whitman-Hanson hosted Quincy Wednesday and lost 3-1. The set scores were 25-20 (Quincy), 25-15 (Quincy), 26-24 (WH) and 25-15 (Quincy). The Panthers made great improvements in passing, attitude and defense tonight. WH played a strong and competitive first set but really shined in set 3 winning in a nail-biter. Captain Halle Julian played smart tonight making 7 kills. Senior Tori Perry carried the team with 12 assists and great communication. The Panthers are now 2-9 in the season and travel to Hanover Friday.
