Field Hockey

 

The Whitman-Hanson Panthers played at home against the Scituate Sailors and the game ended in a 1-1 tie.  The Panthers were able to capitalize around half way through the first half with a goal from sophomore Delanie MacDonald.  The score stayed that way until late in the game where Scituate scored on a long shot from the right side of the net.  Sophomore Maddie Savicke, making her first start in net, played well along with the defense in front of her.  Great ball movement by both teams.  The Panthers and Sailors will meet again in Scituate on 9/28.
