Whitman-Hanson traveled to Silver Lake Thursday night and lost the match 3-1. The set scores were 25-19 (WH), 13-25 (SL), 17-25 (SL) and 18-25 (SL). The Panthers started strong in the first set with great team chemistry and energy on the court. Panthers got stuck in a tough serve receive in the second set and were never able to gain the momentum back. The Panthers played well as a team unit tonight with great improvements in transitions and coverage on the court. Highlights include Senior Captain Halle Julian and Sophomore Ella Sweeney with 5 kills each and Sophomore Olivia Martin with great effort and spirit on the court. The Panthers are now 2-12 in the season and host B-R home tomorrow.
